Abstract Submission

Welcome to the 17th AASD 2025 & 46th DAROC & ESROC 2025 online submission system. Here you can submit an abstract for the 17th Scientific Meeting of the Asian Association for the Study of Diabetes (AASD 2025) in conjunction with the 46th Annual Meeting of the Diabetes Association and the Endocrine Society of the R.O.C. (Taiwan) in Taipei, Taiwan, 28-30 March 2025. 
All congress abstracts must be submitted online via the online submission system. Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract(s). Abstracts must contain original scientific data collected by the author(s). All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Please note the Scientific Committee reserves the right to determine whether a submission is accepted as an oral or a poster and its decision is final. The abstract may be scheduled for presentation on any day during the congress.

  • Deadline for Abstract Submission: Extended to October 15, 2024 
  • Notification of Acceptance: November 10, 2024
  • Deadline for Author registration: December 02, 2024

General Information

  • Abstract submission types:
    • Oral presentation
    • Poster with Oral Summary
    • Poster only
  • Abstract titles are limited to 120 characters or less including spaces.
  • Length of Abstract Body: No longer than 300 words.
  • Language of submission: English ONLY. It is the author’s responsibility to check for typos or grammatical errors before submission.
  • Abstracts should be structured as followed:
    • Objectives
    • Method
    • Results
    • Conclusion
  • A maximum of 1 table (or image) is allowed, and any image must not exceed a maximum size of 2MB.
  • All submitted abstracts must be original. Any abstract violating copyright laws and/or including plagiarized content will be rejected.

Author Rules
  • Each abstract is permitted a maximum of 1 presenting author and 10 co-authors.
  • The presenting author may submit up to two abstracts. Each presenter of an accepted abstract is required to register and pay the registration fee for the 17th Scientific Meeting of the Asian Association for the Study of Diabetes (AASD 2025).
  • If no presentation is delivered during the oral or poster sessions, the abstract will be withdrawn.
Presenter agreement

All presenting authors must agree to the conditions mentioned when submitting an abstract:

  1. If the abstract is accepted, the 17th AASD 2025 & 46th DAROC & ESROC 2025 Congress Committee have permission to publish the abstract in printed and/or electronic formats.
  2. Register for the meeting and pay the appropriate registration fee by the presenter registration deadline (15 November 2024).
  3. By submitting an abstract to 17th AASD 2025 & 46th DAROC & ESROC 2025, and in consideration for the opportunity to be included in the ASD & DAROC & ESROC 20255 presentations, the author(s) of the abstract hereby provides to the Congress Committee Organization a non-exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the abstract in the congress electronic mediums and printed materials.
  4. The author(s) grants the permission to reproduce his/her image (including photos) to create documentation to be published on the internet (including streaming) and to make the audio/video recording (synchro recording system), and photographs of the presentation to produce educational materials. The presentation will be reproduced in full compliance with its contents both in terms of scientific results and information, associated with the image and the data of the undersigned.
